Just a quick sketch :)
Hi there! Thank you guys so much for liking, reblogging and following my work. I really appreciate it. Since I got featured on the Tumblr Radar, I got overwhelmed by so many new likes and followers! I wish I could thank you all personally, but it would take days, hihi. I really appreciate every single thing! Thank you all so much for the support! Currently I’m working on some new stuff, so soon I hope to show more studies, sketches and illustrations!
Another environment study inspired by Brother Bear!
A quick environment study I made from a scene out of one of my favorite animated films: Brother Bear! Those environments are so wonderful and inspiring.
I did a little speedpaint experiment in Photoshop. Made all the elements in this illustration with the lasso tool only. Fun experiment :)
Happy Valentine’s Day.
Cool! I got my first real interview. And now it’s online! Only in dutch unfortunately.
Cloud studies! 5 - 10 minutes each.
Currently I am working and learning more and more about visual development art. I found out (again) that this is something I really really love to do. Here are some random quick environment sketches I’ve done lately. About 30 minutes each.
Finally I made a new illustration of Bamboo and Kota again. It has been a while! That’s because currently I’m studying the basics of (digital) drawing again. Together with Patrick I started this course on ctrlpaint.com. You can follow our progress on class223.tumblr.com! Meanwhile I will you show you this new illustration for this week’s Illustration Friday topic ‘exotic’. Hm, I really need to use an other color next time ^^
For Christmas I got this wonderful book called The Art of Pixar. It’s filled with so many beautiful illustrations! I got so inspired and had to do some quick Pixar environment studies. Each one took about 25 minutes. Ahh, this is way too much fun! .. I just love Pixar’s films.
Some more environment studies done today! 10 minutes each.
Did some environment study today! It’s one of my good intentions for this year. Each sketch took about 10 minutes. It was a great way to practice my speedpainting and learn more about brushes and colors. Oh, and it’s so much fun!
Happy New Year everyone! Yay, 2014, a brand new year with loads of creative and illustrative intentions! So I thought, why not start this year with a new illustration right away! This is my submission to this week’s Illustration Friday topic ‘reflect’.
